01 — Overview

What ScoreSheet does

ScoreSheet swaps the paper match sheet for an app on your phone or tablet — built for real match-day conditions: bright sun, one hand free, no time to fuss.

  • Referee-first: open the app and your most likely match is already waiting at the top of the home screen.
  • Record once: the report, standings, fan predictions, trivia, and highlights all come from that one recording.
  • Around the match too: browse leagues, open team pages, and register squads.
  • Run a whole season: the tournament admin hub covers divisions, venues, fixtures, standings, and a branded page for your fans.

Who uses it

Referees/Match Commissioners recording live matches · Team managers registering squads and submitting team sheets · League operators running tournaments, fixtures, and standings.

How it connects

ScoreSheet records the match. GameDay brings it to your fans — live scores, predictions, trivia, highlights, winner announcements, and now full branded tournament pages you publish straight from the admin hub.

Sign in & user roles

The working parts of ScoreSheet — home, leagues, teams, the recorder, and admin — now ask you to sign in. A ScoreSheet sign-in screen appears the first time you open the app. Create an account or sign in, and you land right where you were headed. You can still share any match report by link, and fans never need an account on GameDay.

RoleWhat they do
Referee / Match CommissionerRecord live matches and submit the match report. Referees can be added to a tournament's referee list and assigned to matches — the matches they're assigned to show up first under "Up Next" on their home screen.
Team ManagerManage their own team's page — register the squad, add players, submit team sheets, and register for tournaments.
League Operator (Admin)Everything above, on any team and any league: run tournaments from the admin hub, add teams and players, create fixtures, and manage GameDay, predictions, and winner announcements. Operators can also invite co-admins to help run a specific tournament.
Trivia AdminCreate and manage trivia questions and sponsor quizzes.

Your first match in three steps

The quickest way to go from opening the app to a finished match report. Each step below is explained in full in the features section.

  1. Find/Create Fixture

Open ScoreSheet868.com/app and sign in. Check Up Next on the home screen — it shows your assigned matches, nearby matches, today's matches, and any that are live. Don't see yours? Browse a competition's fixtures, or tap Add Fixture and search for the two teams (or just photograph the paper team sheets).

  2. Confirm Team lineups and Record

Confirm each team's lineup by dragging players onto the lineup pitch. Then record the match live from your phone or tablet — goals, cards, subs, and more, all with big buttons that are easy to read in sunlight.

  3. Auto-generate Match Report

At full-time, ScoreSheet builds the match report for you — score, scorers, cards, full timeline, and officials. Check it, confirm it, and share the link. Fans on GameDay saw it all live.

Referee-first home & "Up Next"

Open the app and your match is already waiting. The home screen leads with a collapsible Up Next section that suggests the matches you're most likely here for — no digging through menus on the sideline.

Up Next looks at four things to decide which matches to show you: your assignment (you're the assigned referee), near you (the venue is close by), today (it kicks off today), and live now (it's already in progress). It stays tucked away by default, with your top match shown in the header. Tap once to open the full list. Each card takes you straight into the recorder — or into the report, if the match is already finished.

  • Sign in and you land on the home screen — Up Next sits at the top with your best match shown.
  • Tap the header to open the full list. Each match has a small badge showing why it's suggested.
  • Tap a match card to jump straight into the live recorder.

Leagues & fixtures

Browse competitions from the home screen, then open any league to see its fixtures and teams.

Each league page has two tabs. Fixtures lists the league's matches, each showing both teams' crests, with a search-and-filter bar and an Add Fixture button (see F09). Tapping a team name or crest opens a quick preview drawer — recent form, next fixture, and squad size — with a link through to the full team page. Teams lists every club in the league. Registered teams have a full squad on file. Added teams are set up just enough to play fixtures and be scored, without full registration — and admins can add a team on the spot. Tournaments you publish from the admin hub show up in the same list and browse like any other competition.

  • From home, tap a competition to open its league page.
  • On the Fixtures tab, search or filter to find your match, or tap Add Fixture.
  • On the Teams tab, open any team's page — or, as an admin, add a new team to the league.

The rest is shared on a demo.

You've seen how ScoreSheet handles the referee-first home screen, leagues, and fixtures. The complete field guide keeps going — recording a match live, team sheets and lineups, auto-generated match reports, running a whole tournament from one hub, and the GameDay fan experience.

We share the full walkthrough with partners and leagues once a conversation is under way. If ScoreSheet looks like a fit, let's set up a demo and we'll give you full access.
